San Diego is Awesome!
Folks, the ASI Show was awesome this week. The Traffic Booth was not exactly overrun with people, but we had a good, steady stream of distributors in and out of the booth. Not bad for the first ASI show in San Diego. Plus, we made a new friend today-David of Warm Whiskers, a supplier of lush aromatherapy pillows and really cool pet products. He was the tallest person I've ever met- at 6'8". But the coolest tall person I've ever met as well.
The weather was perfect in sunny San Diego- walking to dinner last night in downtown, we encountered cruise ship passengers, SP, (Steve's term for 'Show People') and lots of other good looking people. I can't believe how clean the streets are!
The most exciting thing about Friday (besides our dinner at Lou and Marty's)was the fact that we got to see Tony Robbins speak today. He's really good- you'd think that all the hype was about nothing, but dude is talented. For some reason, they put out half a roomful of chairs, when the room was packed before he even got on stage. ( You ever notice how motivational speakers always break into a small run when they come on? )
I caught Promo the ASI Mascot grooving to some music in the hallway. He had to take a picture with us, and another one because Steve thought his smile was crooked. ( it probably is)
Check out some pictures- you may see something that you were asking about but forgot to get an item#. As usual, our MobiGrip and Light Up journals were present!
Be sure to check our blog regularly- we will be doing a segment on artwork and imprinting methods ( silkscreening, foil stamping and embossing.) Find out what all that jargon from our art department really means, and all the possible ways to imprint leather, recycled chipboard, aluminum, wood, and fabric!
